New venue to us, but what a great blank canvas!
Max & Mell booked our Show 3 with LED Uplighting for the whole room set to pale pink. During the evening we used the Uplighting as part of the disco set up and turned the whole venue into a dance room! Brilliant night and can't wait for the 1st anniversary party!

Lee was the DJ for our wedding in July. He was fantastic! We also had a band and the change from them to him and vice versa was seamless! He read the crowd perfectly and there really was a party atmosphere! I can't recommend highly enough and i'd hire him again in a heart beat! Such a nice guy too! I'd also recommend the confetti canon he provides! Great value for money and we got some amazing photos from it!!

That how I sum up Jo and Pauls' evening! They booked a band to get them going and I took over the remaining couple of hours.
Show 3 was booked and we were able to use our lighting for the band too.
This meant there was less equipment used as the band left their lights in their vehicle. Having less equipment kept the set up looking clean and professional.

Lisa contacted us after performing at a School Prom event earlier in 2013 which Lisa organised. Lisa asked if Pulse Roadshow Mobile Disco were available to DJ at her wedding in December, we were only too happy to oblige!
Lisa & Dave booked our all day wedding package which included our background music system with microphone from 3.30pm through to midnight. A couple of weeks before the function we were contacted by Lisa's Dad who wanted a bit of help with his speech where he wanted music played at certain points. It was a great day, the guests certainly knew how to party in the evening!

We were contacted back in January 13 from a guy who wanted to hire equipment for a wedding so he could DJ for his friends. Unknown to us the guy was Ben Beardsworth the Managing Director of XL Recordings. If you don't know XL Recordings is an idependent record label who work with the likes of Adele, SL2, Sigur Ros, Dizzee Rascal and The Vampire Weekend to name a few. Ben also helped to develop The Prodigy. Ben plugged into our gear and had the dancefloor full from start to finish playing some wicked tracks! At the end of the night he said DJing for weddings was an emotional rollercoaster!

Dear Lee,
After all the floods and furore of last weekend we just wanted to say how brilliant you were as the DJ at Charles's 70th birthday party on Saturday. You managed to arrive - no small achievement given the torrential rains and closed roads - calmly set up your equipment and played just what we wanted when we wanted it. I hope it wasn't too much of a shock to the system having to dig out the ancient pop songs we like. Many of the thank you letters from our friends mention the dance music - it having included all their old favorites and played 'not too loud'. So, thank you very much Lee.
If your assistant managed to get any photos of the evening we'd love to have (or buy) them off him. We were going to have had a professional photographer taking snaps of the guests as they arrived (then wandering around the sunlit garden - ha ha!) but he cried off because of the floods. So any photos at all would be welcome.
I hope the next parties/functions you work at have some decent weather.

To say it was a little wet was an understatement! We managed to get through the floods and set up in a very damp marquee! Using minimal equipment and ensuring the mobile disco equipment was safe the party went on.
We did take some photos which we were only to pleased to send on to Cindy & Charles, after they had received them they sent another note by post and a cheque as a thank you.
Music was taken from the 50s to the 70s pop hits! Great fun night!

Lee, I have just realised where I recognise you from. In October 2003 Pulse Roadshow did the disco for our 25th wedding anniversary at the Sherborne Hotel. I remember you commenting at the time about the fact that EVERYONE got up and danced the Hokey Cokey or similar song. We had a really fantastic night and a good DJ too!!! That's 10 years ago, and we have just had our 35th anniversary....!
